I do not have to write about how ridiculous, immature and irresponsible one would have to be to go shopping for needless and worthless things especially when one hasn't any money and is knee deep in debt. Once upon a time, this would be considered common sense to anyone and everyone. Yet, now we are told that if you do not shop then the economy could collapse, you will lose your job, your house, and your family.

So get out there and buy, spend, shop! Go get that cheap plastic widget. Who cares that you don't need it or that it will break in two weeks. Hell, what are you supposed to do with it anyway? But, you cannot live without it. At least buy it for your kids. No kids? What about dear ole Uncle Sam? We all know he could us that plastic beauty made in China.

C'mon it's the Holiday Season! It would not be the holidays if you didn't shop. I'm not talking about buying something big - just some little rubbish that no one wants so that everyone has some worthless junk to OPEN. See, it really is about giving. It's not about me and my selfish irrational ways. I want you to be happy. That's why I'm buying this crap that I know you don't want - to show you I care! I know that you do not want any of this garbage, but you do not understand that buying things equals happiness. How else are you to be happy if you do not shop? Why do you work? Why get a job if your not going to spend all of your money! I work over 50 hours a week for 50 weeks out of the year and I want to spend that money! I deserve it. What else would I do with my time, but shop? Oh, and watch tv? How else would you find out what to buy?

Some of you may be saying, "I know your right, BUT I have to buy THINGS for my kids, or my wife, or boyfriend or boss or just fill in the freakin' ridiculous, irrational blank______! Have fun and exercise your brain. If you are a parent - here is an idea - teach your child by giving them the greatest gift imaginable - wisdom through example. I'm not saying do not ever buy your child anything, but happiness or contentment will never come from possessions. The child who is satisfied without will find fulfillment in life, while the child who learns to seek happiness through the hunger for more material will have an unquenchable thirst. Get creative and spend some time with these people you care about. Do something nice for them, be kind to them, help them with their daily chores. Be romantic, interesting and playful. Imagine the countless EXPERIENCES you could have to remember and to cherish.

Helvetica is the obvious choice for this poster's typography! If you have not seen it yet, please watch Helvetica: A Documentary Film by Gary Hustwit. Helvetica is an independent film about typography, graphic design and global visual culture.

The poster lists no matters of substance discussed by the major media and politicians because there are no matters of importance discussed by them. Sure, fundamental questions are raised on occasion, but no real or honest solutions are ever met due to the fact that questions of substance are not allowed to be asked. The media even go so far as to proclaim some of these debates, negotiations or bills as a victory for the American citizen, but nothing is accomplished that has any long lasting or far reaching effect for the Average American.
Not true you say? If problems are solved due to government involvement, then answer just one of the following questions. Why is it that we always have higher taxes? Why is the gap between the rich and poor widening. Why does the national debt continue to rise? Why do we still start trillion dollar wars? Why does our government send the military to bomb and kill innocent men, women, children and babies? Why is the average American struggling under the yoke of a carefree Uncle and a deceptive banking system? Why do the politicians disregard the people they are suppose to represent? If greed and power were American family values then perhaps our politicians would embody us as a people. One cannot represent whom one does not understand. Some people tell you that you have to vote because it is your duty and that if you do not vote then you cannot have an opinion. Those same people also believe that you have to vote for the lesser of two evils and that it is a cop out to not vote. Mention that you might vote for a third party candidate and they will scold you for "wasting your vote." All of their reasons that you should vote (particularly for their party) are simply echoes from government propaganda that do not hold water.

The only duty I have is for truth - to myself and everyone and everything.

Let us say that you are a Christian. Now, let us further suppose that you are asked your religion. Oh no, you are not allowed to say Christian because that is not an option. So are you Hindu or Muslim? Time is running out. You cannot have a voice unless you choose your religion! Come on, don't cop out on me. Pick Hindu, everyone knows it is the true religion. No you are a Muslim - there can be only one God. Wait you say. I am considering picking Jewish. Oh please, you are throwing you vote away. Hindu or Muslim! But I'm a Christ... Didn't you see the news about what will happen if you vote Hindu! Come on, don't be an idiot if you do not vote for Muslim then we will all be speaking Chinese in two years. Well if you vote Hindu then at least our children will have schools to attend! Yea, Chinese schools! O.K, I'll vote...

Perhaps you are African American and you are asked your race, but only Caucasian and Asian are your options. Do you say Asian because you enjoy lying to yourself? Maybe you are gay and you have to pick between bisexual or straight. Oh you say, well I guess I am straight afterall. Could you possible just be someone who tells the truth and you must confess that you are a liar or a cheat.

Are you going to submit? By voting out of duty or for the lesser of two evils you are at the very least giving in to injustice and at the most you are an advocate and cheerleader of your candidate for better and for worse. Do not think that you can separate yourself when your leader chooses injustice over justice. Or seeks personal gain at the misfortune of others. Or that you can for a minute escape guilt when your leader desires war instead of peace. No, you are a part of this injustice and war and misfortune. Your vote has empowered your politician. Your tax dollars have supported their cause.

If you have a viable candidate that you believe in, then by all means, please vote! But by not voting for someone because you do not think that they are qualified, or because they have different philosophies and beliefs then you do – well that is using common sense and it is the logical conclusion. Only vote for who you believe is going to do what you think is right or who is going to represent the people.

"The original 1878 Posse Comitatus Act was indeed passed with the intent of removing the Army from domestic law enforcement. Posse comitatus means “the power of the county,” reflecting the inherent power of the old West county sheriff to call upon a posse of able-bodied men to supplement law enforcement assets and thereby maintain the peace. Following the Civil War, the Army had been used extensively throughout the South to maintain civil order, to enforce the policies of the Reconstruction era, and to ensure that any lingering sentiments of rebellion were crushed. However, in reaching those goals, the Army necessarily became involved in traditional police roles and in enforcing politically volatile Reconstruction-era policies. Barack Obama is bringing much change to the White House - changing it back to the way it was when Bill Clinton was President. If Obama was serious about a real change then he would not be surrounding himself with former Clinton staff members and appointing them as his advisers. History tells us that political corruption, aggressive wars and economic hell are some of the "changes" that will continue in this country and around the world with a Republican or a Democrat President.

Countless artists have attempted to canonize Barack Obama in support of his presidential campaign, but none more successfully as Shepard Fairey and Ron English. Fairey's incredible poster of Obama is, to be sure, a thing of beauty. While Ron English's Obama Lincoln is also a beautifully powerful image to say the least of these two works of art. Unfortunately for Fairey and English, the self proclaimed anti-establishment artists, they have been fooled by the very establishment they are supposed to be against. Perhaps they have simply become part of the machine as a result of their fame or more likely, they place hope in front of reason.

Regardless, Kurt Nimmo puts it like this,

They are hard pressed to realize the obvious fact — elections are dog and pony shows designed to trick the public into thinking they are participating in the so-called democratic process when in fact they are simply signing off on corporate and banker vetted candidates, who are little more than PR front men and script readers. Obama is no different than Bush, except he is more intelligent and more palatable to the masses. Democrats have the same agenda as the Republicans, albeit with differences on a few social issues, which are played up in the corporate media. But when it comes to financial and foreign policy — and the two are intertwined — there is no difference. It happens every election cycle."
