Peace, Propaganda and the Promised Land
If you are not afraid of the truth then watch this film. If you love humanity and believe children deserve a chance at hope then watch this film. Peace, Propaganda and the Promised Land is one of the most important films I have seen. The Media Education Foundation (MEF) in response to the uncritical reaction by Western media to Israel’s massacre of Gaza, released this feature documentary online for free.
Now, when you first see a grenade, you may think of war, but probably not peace. This poster reveals the absurdity in what is consider by many to be the norm – “We must go to war to have peace.” Peace – War demands that the viewer question what is taken for granted. Year after year the public is sold this same double speak campaign that we must fight to have peace. Sounds rather ridiculous doesn’t it? Or does it? Has the contradictory and the preposterous been so ingrained in us that our thoughts find logic in what was once considered irrational?

The media should be critical of the Palestinians. The world should as well.
It’s hard to have peace when you are surrounded by people dedicated to your destruction and extinction.
From 2005 up until Operation Cast Lead over 7,200 rockets and mortars were fired into Israel. Almost 1 million Israelis live within range of those weapons.
You can only tolerate so much before you have to do the inevitable, go kicks some ass. Unfortunately Hamas, like most militant Palestinian scumbags, purposely use women and children as human shields. They store and launch their weapons in and from schools and mosques.
There is no longer an occupation. Israel has given up all occupied territory and look what the Palestinian people have done. Shit on it, like they do with everything, including cease-fires.

Perhaps the deceitful propaganda machine is stronger than I thought because there is obviously an OCCUPATION because it is under Israeli military rule, a fact which cannot be disputed.
