The July Poster Giveaway has ended and the winner is DJ Justice! Go to his website “the art of justice” and check out some of his work like the wonderful photograph to the left. On his site you will find an artist statement that begins, “Some people find it odd that I was nearly 40-years-old before I did my first painting.” I found those words inspiring and quite intriguing. He also notes a quote from Van Gogh that may motivate you to strive for your goals, “If you hear a voice within you say, ‘You cannot paint,’ then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced.”
Thanks for everyone who participated in the giveaway! There are some big changes coming to this site and more free giveaways. I have also begun serious work on my new film and will keep you informed on the exciting details.
